X-Mas Get-Together !!

Hello there everyone.... Sorry I haven't been posting lately... Just been really busy with the family life and all my Christmas projects... I will be posting them soon. A few weeks ago I attended our X-mas Get-together with the Omayzon Stampers... It was so nice to see all the girls again.... We each took a shoe box swap, so we all took turns making everyone's projects... Here are some of the cards I made. The first card, I just love the colors. They are not your traditional Christmas colors. Just a little something I wanted to share with you all.... Thanks for peeking in... I will be back soon. HAPPY STAMPIN.... BEC ~

Tinkerbell & Fairy Friends......

Hi there.... here are more invites I made for a friend at work.... Her daughter loves Tinkerbell and her Fairy Friends.... Now I sure don't have any Tinkerbell or Fairy stamp images... so I mentioned to her to find me some Stickers and I will work with those... And Wala !! Here they are. I found the shimmery card stock to match each of the fairies outfits... I did apply each sticker to white c.s. and trimmed cut, then added dimensionals for a type of 3D effect. The outer card still seemed a little plain too me, and not to mention my boys thinking the same thing... So I then added a star/ flake stamp image in Whisper White ink, and added some Dazzling Diamonds to each star. Which I believe gave it a little more Pizazz to it :) and came out very glittery. The response I got back from the friend at work was " They were so cute, I just wanted to keep them for myself, and not give them out" TOO FUNNY :) I'm working on some Baby shower invites and my X-Mas Cards... THANKS FOR STOPPING BY, HAPPY STAMPIN.... BEC ~

CD Covers ...

Hi.... So What do you think about these.... I have been wanting to purchase Julianne Hough's new country CD for some time now...... You all know who she is right?? She is one of the awesome professional dancers on Dancing With the Stars, and I have to say my favorite. Not only does she dance but she sings pretty good too.... So what I did was buy the CD, made some copies, and made my own CD covers using some pretty designer paper from Stampin' Up.... Holiday Treasures. If you can see the detail, I distressed the edging, added my flourish stamp image from the Priceless Stamp Set... I put a small touch of some glitter sticker spots. At the top of each CD holder I used the circle punch for an easy access to pull on the cd. Only punched half ways though. These are perfect gifts & stocking stuffers to give out to family & friends. Thanks for stopping by.... I should post tomorrow, but if I don't I wish you all a wonderful Happy Thanksgiving. BEC ~

A Minnie Party !!

Here are some Invitations I made for a very small little friend of mine. She is going to be celebrating her 2nd Birthday..... And her mommy asked me to make something cute. I got the idea from another Scrap Buddy in my Scrap Community, just used the layout and came up with my own creation of images, colors and supplies. I found the very cool pearlized cardstock at Michaels, and made my own white polka dots with a pencil eraser and Whisper White Kraft ink. The face and ears silhouette are the round circle punches from Stampin' Up. Added some matching pink brads, and matching ribbon for the head bow. The balloons on the envelopes are outlined with diamond stickles. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SKYE :) Thanks for stopping by, HAPPY STAMPIN.... BEC....

Birthday Wishes !!

Here is a kinda masculine card. It was our neighbors 19th birthday, so I thought I would make him a card. The skull head was a image on a printed paper that I decided to cut out and apply on a Cranberry colored scalloped square. I did go ahead and distress the cranberry and white c.s. in black. The background black c.s. has a long dotted stamp image in whisper white. It looks like if the c.s. came like that in that print, but it didn't, that just tells you that you can make your own printed paper with the hundreds of stamp images Stampin' Up has to offer. I then dressed it up with a white & black ribbon along with some silver brads. I need to get started on some new projects and back into my Scrap Booking.... Thanks for stopping by...HAPPY STAMPIN, BEC ~

Thinking Of You......

Hi there, hope you all had a wonderful weekend....I so much liked the way this card turned out. I first saw the print paper at "STAMP YOUR HEART OUT", grabbed it before even knowing what I was going to do with it :) The colors are so pretty. It was a printed sheet, and I ended up trimming some of the flower images and popped it up on my card and added a silky light blue bow. I did distress the card and the quote square in brown. The green print square piece in the middle of the card was the back side to the flower print. You know that double sided paper, sometimes I mind, sometimes I don't :) Oh one more thing, my hubby created a two page scrapbook layout. Came out really cool. He has his own unique creation. I will be posting them very soon, so keep on a lookout for them..... Till next time, HAPPY STAMPIN.... BEC~

Some Friendly Cards

I made these cards as a bundle... Anyone who placed a Stampin' Up order with me by the end of this month, rec'vd a package of these as a thank you gift. I just love the flourish image, and just can't seem to put that stamp down. It is from the Priceless stamp set from Stampin' Up. I added some diamond stickles to the swirls, stamped the butterfly image in black on the colored c.s. The c.s. has a shimmery effect to it, click on the picture below to view a closer look. I trimmed around the butterfly image leaving some color, then added dimensionals. Off to the right of the card, I got to use my new Scallop Edge Hand Punch, one of Stampin' Up's new punches. I used different greetings, to have them all be a little different. They all came with matching envelopes.... I have plenty packages left over, place a Stampin' Up order and get these for FREE... perfect for any birthdays that are coming up... TILL NEXT TIME, HAPPY STAMPIN.... BEC ~

Anniversary Gift

Here is a gift I gave to a close friend of mine Coleen. It was her work Anniversary. Instead of using a gift bag I decided to dress up a tin can I had. It was an empty Almond Roca candy can. I filled it up with some stickles, brads and chalk ink distressers that she can use on her Christmas Cards she is making herself. I purchased the awesome paper that I fell in love with at The Scrapbook Lounge. With the 5 petal flower punch from Stampin Up, I punched out 3 different flowers from the DP, stacked them on top of each other, added a large antique copper brad and popped up with dimensionals. I did distress some of the petals in black. The small butterflies were cut out from another DP sheet and popped up. The sentiment saying is from a sheet of my Stampin' Up rub-ons, those are so awesome and apply so smoothly. They come in two sheets with many images and sayings to choose from. And of course a matching card to go along with the gift...... See what empty cans you have that you can dress up.... :) Till next time, HAPPY STAMPIN.... THANKS FOR STOPPING BY, BEC ~

Trick or Treat !!

Ok, you can hit me :) I haven't posted for a while.... So Sorry. But it's not that I haven't been getting creative :) I was in Michaels a few weeks ago and passed a bin that had these buckets for .49cents, as soon as I seen them I thought to myself, "what can I do with these?" Then I thought of my nephews, I will make them Trick or Treating candy holders. I wanted to do them different. I used just DP for the jumbo band around the buckets, cut out the letters with the Sizzix Machine, I did some stitching on some of the letters with a white jel pen, and the other bucket in black. I stamped a few images and popped those up. Then for the finishing touch I added some orange stickles around the lettering. When my Nephew Ryan seen these his eyes opened up wide, I asked him to pick the one he wanted and he chose the one with the skull heads, but I think his older brother Rene is going to want that one. Good luck Mich... :) I do have more projects to share. HAVE A SAFE & FUN HALLOWEEN..... HAPPY STAMPIN... BEC ~

So Pretty !!

Hi Stampers.... I just had to show you these beautiful pics. They are pretty flowers that my father grows for my mother. Her yard is like one big nursery. It is so colorful, especially with these flower plants sitting through out their backyard. These aren't the only one's he has, there are more, in different colors. It's a hobby of my fathers to grow and take care of all his plants. Ok, on another note, I will be posting new projects next week, for I will be working on some this weekend. We have Monday off, so that is an extra day to play :) Enjoy the pictures....... HAPPY STAMPIN..... BEC ~

Mr. Mummy......

Hello Scrappers..... This is a little different, and was a little time consuming, for only the first one I should say. Then I got the hang of it. I have to say a Blogger friend gave me a little inspiration for this card, I just made some changes of my own. I backed my card with Black c.s., then on a separate piece of white c.s. started layering the 1" strips. But before doing that I did distress them with brown chalk ink. Used 3 of my Stampin' Up circle punches for the eyes, 1 3/8, 1 1/4 and 1/2. Found the cute plastic spiders at Stamp your heart out in Claremont and glued down with Zip Dry. You gotta get this stuff if you don't own it yet. Just perfect for ribbon, rhinestones, any embellishment actually, it is clear and dries in seconds. The Happy Halloween stamp I believe was a $1 acrylic stamp from Michaels. I will be mailing out some of these for my Halloween Cards. Till next time, HAPPY STAMPIN.... BEC ~

Perfect Teacher Gift

Hello there. Long time no chat :) Just been really busy with the home life, and my poor little pops ( well I shouldn't say little my youngest is almost 6 foot) having an infection with a tooth. He ended up having a Root Canal done yesterday. So now I gotta get back into my projects. Here is a small gift package I made for my nephew Rene's teacher. I had made the cards a few weeks ago, but still needed to package them up. I created the package in about 10 minutes while I was watching the Dodger game on Saturday. I used the same stamp set as on the cards, and added my own little tag, stapling the ribbon to the scalloped circle punch. I think it's so cute you don't even want to open it. Isn't that so true :) If any of you are interested in giving one of these packages to your child's teacher, just e-mail me or give me a ring, I will be more than gladly to assemble one together for you. For a very small affordable fee, $6 for four cards, with matching stamped envelopes, and cutsie packaged. Now I just have to give it to my nephew to pass along to his teacher. Thanks for stopping by..... HAPPY STAMPIN.... BEC ~

From Our Web to Yours....

Shame on me :( Sorry it's been a while.... Just haven't visited my Scrap Room for a while. Here's a Halloween card I put together. I found the web printed paper at one of my Favorite Scrapbook Stores. I just had to get it, and use it. I embossed the little haunted house, and distressed the c.s. backing of the house. Added a large silver brad. Distressing some of the paper pieces in black really made the card stand out I think. I will be making a small gift package of these cards for my nephew Rene's teacher. I have some other Halloween Projects in mind, stay tuned for more. Happy Friday, and have a wonderful weekend...Don't forget to get some Scrapping in between your weekend duties, and share your projects with me. Bec ~

School is in Session !!

Hi there :) First of all I want to thank Jill Dunn from Dixie, for giving me the wonderful idea to make this card. And for all the wonderful inspiration she gives to others with all her awesome creations. I had to use my own Stamp images, so this card is a little different from Jills. I will be making a package of 5 to give to my nephews teacher. I used my Real Red and Glorious Green Ink Pads. I also had to ask my son for a few sheets of his school paper. I really had a fun time creating this project, I think the colors are what made it fun :) Thanks for stopping by, and have a wonderful weekend... HAPPY STAMPIN, BEC ~

Back To School !!

Hello there :) Yes, it's Kinder Time for my nephew Rene..... Back to the fun learning, and making new friends..... I had rec'vd a text picture on my cell phone, and when I opened it up, it was a pic of my nephew that my brother sent letting me know it was picture day at school. He looked so cute, with his little tie, that the first thing that came to my mind was, "I'm gonna need to make some cute cards for them to put his picture in and send to family & friends". So I got to work that night on my Scrap Table and Wala !! this is what I came out with. I found the printed paper with numbers and the apple green print at The Scrapbook Lounge in Montclair. I punched the corners with the corner notch punch, cut out my (K) with the Sizzix Machine, using the Round Scallop Punch I cut out with the Apple Green polka dot c.s. I hung the circle image with a silver elastic twine, punched out a small hole to insert both sides of the twine and knotted up on the inside. The star is punched with the Large Star Punch from S.U., and popped up with dimensionals, I did add a small silver brad to the center. I stamped up a matching envelope for the finishing touches. Hope you have a wonderful day, thanks for stopping by... HAPPY STAMPIN...BEC ~

TakeDown !!!

Hello Fella Scrappers :) Here's just another of many others to come of a Wrestling Layout. Hopefully I won't run out of idea's using the same school colors. My son Jesse will be starting his 3rd season as a Varsity Wrestler in October. I am looking forward to cheering him on again. If you read this Jess, " Give it all you got Babe, I am proud on how you handle all your school work, sports all year round, 3 hour practices, and all the other demands you meet" This layout is with a 5X7 pic. I hardly do layouts with only one Pic, so it's kinda like a challenge for me. I did feel that I needed to add the circle pic off to the right. I scalloped the Hunter Green C.S. which is the backing of the 5x7 pic. and the circle pic backing. I added some black & white ribbon for a little decor. On top and bottom edging I stamped (Bring it On) going across the page with some silver brads in between. The black letters are cut by the Sizzix Machine. Click on the Pic to view a better close up. I just created some really cute cards, perfect for those wonderful teachers. I will be posting them soon. Thanks for stopping by and in hoping that I bring more inspiration to all of you. HAPPY STAMPING..... BEC ~

BALL TIME !!

IT'S ALWAYS BALL TIME FOR MY BOYS AND THEIR DAD..... THEY ARE SO ATHLETIC, AND I'M GLAD BECAUSE IT KEEPS THEM BUSY AND ALWAYS IN SHAPE.... HERE'S A LAYOUT WITH MY SON SONNY. I FOUND THIS REALLY COOL PRINT PAPER ON OUR SHOP HOP EVENT. THE COLORS ARE WHAT CAUGHT MY EYE. THE TOP PRINT ALONG WITH THE BOTTOM PRINT OF THE BASEBALLS WERE BOTH PART OF ONE PAGE BUT I CUT OUT THE STRIPS AND JUST PLACED THEM ON A PIECE OF WHITE 12X12 C.S. I DISTRESSED THE RED LETTERING WITH BLACK CHALK INK AND ADDED SOME SILVER BRADS FOR SOME DECOR. IF YOU CLICK ON THE PICTURE YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO SEE THE DETAILED DIAMOND STICKLES I ADDED TO THE BASEBALLS AT BOTTOM AND THE ONE IN THE CENTER. I PLAN ON SCRAPPIN THIS WEEKEND SO I WILL BE BACK SOON WITH SOME MORE FUN STUFF. TILL NEXT TIME, HAPPY STAMPIN..... BEC ~

SHOP HOP TIME !!

Hi there.... Sorry I've been gone a few days... I took an extra day to have a longer Labor Day Weekend. I did get some Scrapbooking done, I will post as soon as possible. Here are some pic's from SHOP HOP that I promised I would post. We had such a good time. We got to visit 13 Scrapbook Stores. My favorite was that I found something different and unique in every store. And I kept a good budget going too. I only kept my mind and hands (LOL...) on anything to do with Baseball, Wrestling, and Golf. I couldn't help but to choose some awesome printed paper that I just haven't seen anywhere. Now to get my creative hands going, I need to start using up all this fun Scrap goodies I have. The first pic is of my mother, my sis-in-law Heidi and myself in front of Stamp Your Heart Out in Claremont, The next pic, is of Michelle (Sis-in-law) and myself doing a free make & take at Strictly Scrapbooking in Cerritos, then the last pic is of us in front of Scrappin In The Hills in Anaheim. The store manager was so kind to come out and take our pic. I have more pics I will post in a few days. Till next time, thanks for peeking in.... HAPPY SCRAPPIN....BEC ~

You Go Steph !!

Hello everyone :) I created this page really quick last night. My cousin Steph is very athletic, I'm starting to see it runs in the family :) During our SHOP HOP event, I found some really cool Soccer Goodies, that went perfect with Steph's pic. Most of the phrases are stickers, and I just backed them up with card stock and added dimensionals. I then added Silver Stickles in dot format outlining some of the embellishments and picture. Added my own tag and Wala !! Oh, forgot the silver star brads. Thanks Stephie for the picture. Hope you like how your page came out. Thanks for stopping by... Till next time, HAPPY STAMPIN.... BEC ~

Has anyone seen this Cutie ??

Ryan will steal your heart just by his smile. Believe it or not I have had this wanted embellishment sign for 2 years now. I had purchased it at the Ontario Convention a few years ago. I had this pic of my nephew and remembered I have the perfect place to put it. I distressed some of the lines on the wood looking sign. Added some copper brads to each corner. I swirled up some thick twine and placed it down with Zip Dry. If you don't own a bottle of Zip Dry you need to go out and get it. It glues down and dries in seconds, perfect for anything. Along the twine I added some green half rhinestones. Didn't want to add too much embellishments to this page. I will be posting some pic's from our SHOP HOP event tomorrow, so swing on by..... HAPPY STAMPIN....BEC ~

Thinking Elegance !!

I really wanted to take my time creating this page because I already had in mind to be creative in a more formal way..... So what do you think? I added the flourish image from the Priceless Stamp Set (S.U.) in Whisper White craft ink, then I outlined some of the swirls in diamond stickles. If you click on the image to view closer I added some half pearl accents from the Pretties accent collection set then some sticker rhinestones. The white flowers are also from the Pretties accent set and punched out some purple flowers from the 5 petel flower hand punch (S.U.) Try making your own Stickles Glitter paper. Oh sorry, and for those of you who are wondering who this is, it's my son Sonny and his girlfriend Melina at her Prom. Thanks for stopping by, HAPPY STAMPIN.... BEC ~

Sharing Evelyn's Creations

Hi everyone... Your probably wondering where I have been. I misplaced my cord to download my pics. You know us Bloggers can't be without that magical cord. Here are a couple of Scrapbook layouts that a friend Evelyn created. School days on the left is of her Grandson Ryan, "Don't let that little smile fool you". He drives his grandma a little crazy. And the little princess on the right is her Grandaughter. Evelyn is another friend who thought that she couldn't get into Scrapbooking, but look at her work, she does a great job. Thanks for sharing Evi..... HAPPY STAMPIN.... BEC ~

Covered Journal

Hello :) Wow, can you believe it, I covered a Journal. My first time ever. A friend Vanessa from Freckle Friends inspired me to try and create something like this. She does a wonderful job herself. My husband and I are giving this journal as a Thank You gift to a friend at his work that lent us a book to read. I titled the journal ( Memory Verses ), so she can jot down her favorite Bible Scriptures. I really enjoyed the colors I chose. It reminds me of an Old Antique Item. The Journal I found at Micheals in the Dollar Baskets. The 2 print papers I found at The Scrapbook Lounge in Montclair. I added some Dark Brown ribbon along with some Sheer Organza light brown ribbon which I tied a small bow. I made my own Tag Label, scalloped the edges and distressed with Colorbox Chalk in Chestnut Roan.I covered the title label with the same organza ribbon I used for the side of the journal. I added some mini circle antique copper brads. Before I was all done I added some Gold Stickles to some of the swirls on the pattern paper. On the inside cover I did place another small tag saying, " Plant a seed of Kindness, Gather a bouquet of Friendship". I'm sure some of you had seen this quote before. Why don't you try covering a journal yourself, send me a pic of your finish project so I can post on my Site :) HAPPY STAMPIN....BEC ~

Little Sports Fans !!

We have some little sports fans here :) I really enjoyed working on this page, for one because it was a really neat birthday party, every one had to come in Dodger clothing. And even little Jacobs (birthday boy) invite was like a Dodger game ticket. I used Whisper White and Brilliant Blue C.S. A few of the Picture c.s. backings are Grey. On the Little Fans lettering I used Crystal Effects and on the little red baseballs. The cute Dodger Jersey embellishment I found at Screamin Susies in Whittier. 2 more weeks left for Shop Hoppers. Looking forward to next weekend. I want to shout out a Best of Luck to my Scrappin Friend Pauline Sierra, who has informed me that she is on a mission to visit all Shop Hop stores. Were talking 33 scrapbook stores. (WOW !) Within 4 days she has already visited 14 stores. High 5 to you Pauline. Now that's what you call a true Scrapper :) HAPPY STAMPIN....BEC ~

Look Who Turned 3 .....

Hi everyone, hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Look my little Pops Ryan ( Nephew) turned 3. Wow before you know it he's going to be in Kindergarten. I just love Ryan's smile. And he's also sooo... photogenic, I think all our children know that we take all these pics for a reason (Scrapbooking) because let me tell you between my boys and my brother Robert's boys, they sure are asked to smile a whole lot :) LOL !!! Here on this layout, I found this cool perfect birthday print from (The Scrapbook Lounge) in Montclair, along with the back ground print that has Celebrate all over it. I added some pic's that I had took of Ryan throughout this year, and used my Coluzzle Cutting System from S.U. to make them round, and just used my scallop scissors for the round picture trimming backing. If you click on the picture to view better I added Yellow Stickles along the edging of the round pics. The stamped images are from the (Eat Cake) Stamp Set from S.U. Sorry is now retired. On another note.... SHOP HOP started, so this Saturday that passed we went to 4 different scrapbook stores, FUN...FUN...FUN, I found some really cool scrapbook stuff and can hardly wait to start using it all up. My focus for this years SHOP HOP is anything to do with Wrestling, Baseball and Golf.....and maybe a few Halloween items..... I will be posting pictures soon of our fun field trips.... We are hoping to visit at least 13 stores.... Ok enough..... HAPPY SCRAPPIN.... BEC ~

It turned out to be a beautiful day, so we set up the tables outside. I just love watching the girls have fun with their hands and creativity. I ain't the only one Scrappin !!

Hi there....I wanted to post up these pic's of the girls and their pages they created up at our Annual Scrap Weekend Get-Away..... The first pic is of Aileen, she created a layout using her Graduation Pics.(Congrat's Mija) You Did It !!! Then there is Heidi with her 2 page layout. Now I have to say Heidi was on a roll. I was wondering why she was sooo quiet. She ended up creating 21 pages, just flew right by us :) And I can't even count how many S.U. stamp set's this girl has. Now the 3rd pic is of my wonderful Mother, who did mention to everyone that she would never scrapbook. HAH....who are you kidding :) She couldn't just sit around us and just watch us scrap the rest of our lives. So sure enough, she got her groove on finally, and she is now part of the pack. She created a Las Vegas page layout with pics of her sisters. Her favorites are doing pages on her grandson's. Oh one more thing, this women can not put her camera down now either and in the other hand her TECATE beer can :) LOL...Then there is my sis-in-law Mich, she is working on 2 albums at the same time, for both her boys. She created some really nice pages. Mich is sooo patient when it comes to her layouts, she takes her time until it comes out just the way she wants it. Everyone is so creative in their own way. Looking forward to another great weekend next year. Or should I say 2 different weekends.... Yippee :) Thanks for visiting, HAPPY STAMPIN... BEC ~

My Sonny Delight !

Hi everyone....Here's a layout I created with my son Sonny. He is so photogenic. I went with colors to match his shirts he has on. Chocolate Chip and Glorious Green along with Whisper White. I spelled out his name with the Sizzix machine, and added some dark brown ribbon twine to the side of his page, giving it a little change up. I added some word labels that I created myself. Wrapped some ribbon on the side of each word label along with a copper brad. When I created this page I was with a group of scrappers (friends & family) I had each of them give me a word that personally best describes my son to them. It was a pretty neat idea. When he seen the page, he did ask what word belonged to who. You may click on the pic to see a closer view and to read the labels. Till next time... HAPPY STAMPIN.... BEC~ PS...hope you's all got through the earthquake a bit ago... :)

Dare 2B Wild !!!

Hi Everyone... Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. On Saturday we helped my in-laws move into their New Home that they purchased. Was a little far out, but a really nice drive for us. We first stopped and had a nice breakfast at this new place we found by our home. Best French Toast I've tasted. Sunday the guys had their baseball game. Took lots of footage and Pics. I think my Hubbies making some kind of Power Point Project with all the pics and video we take at each game. Now on my layout I have here. My boys just love any diving board. They are so willing to try anything when it comes to a diving board. Here each of them are doing something different, so I took Pic's and thought this will be a good page to get creative on.... For the C.S. colors, I went with Whisper White, Basic Black and More Mustard. I backed only the center picture with a More Mustard background and used my corner notch punch. I titled it Dare 2B Wild....I made my own name tags so you'll know who's who. I added a splatter background stamp around the page with a circle image from the Seeing Circles stamp set and added black brads to the center of the circles. Click on the pic to see better details. HAPPY SCRAPPIN.... BEC ~

MY WRESTLER !!

I really do enjoy creating Sports pages. They are one of my favorites. Here's a layout of my son Jesse. He will be entering his Junior year, and is a Varsity Wrestler. He sure did his share of workouts and competing this past year. The printed wrestling paper is from Scrappin Good Times. I take advantage of every wrestling paper I find, there are not too many out there. I only used half the sheet and cut out certain words from the other piece to use on my tag I made. I backed up my pictures with Basic Black, White or Green Galore C.S. Not sure if you can see good enough, but I distressed my small word sayings with a Gold Ink color, it matched the yellow 12x12 I used for the whole layout. On the Black tag that I made and placed on the upper right corner, I stapled it on the sides to attach to the page. It gave it a pretty cool look. And just did a little journaling on the computer and added a small silver brad to the bottom corner. It's Friday, so happy Friday everyone, and hope you have a wonderful weekend. I am organizing my scrap area again, so I'm going to try and get a few layouts and cards made. HAPPY SCRAPPIN...... BEC ~

Fun in the Sun......

Hi there you all....
Yes summer is here and almost over. What a drag....Time just keeps on flying by. These are some pic's we took on the 4th of July. My boys just love their uncles Pool, because of the diving board. I have a cool page with them doing their diving board tricks. I will post it tomorrow. The tag was a free Make-&-Take I did at The Scrapbook Lounge in Montclair. It's such an awesome scrapbook store. Once I had the tag done, I picked up a few matching C.S. sheets to create my page. I added my own picture corners in orange. I backed some of my pics with white and some with a lime green. I threw in a little black to give it a little touch. At the end I spread some orange brads around the page. Now see what you have, and create a layout like this one. Oh one more thing, I didn't have a sun stamp image or a die cut, so I made my own sun. Not bad huh? I attached it off the page a little. Till next time....HAPPY SCRAPPIN...BEC ~

My Boys !!

Good Morning....I have about 5 more pages to post that I had created up at our Scrapbook Weekend. After these I'm gonna have to start using my imagination and creativity again. I still have a few projects that I need to get done. This was one of my favorite pages, I have to say I did give myself a pat on the back for this one :) I used a creamy caramel colored C.S. and distressed the outer edging with a brown chalk color. The printed paper I purchased at a Scrapbook Store. I liked it because of the Skull Heads and the colors it had. A Real Rusty color. The print is of a type of Flourish design which I ended up trimming, so I can use at the bottom of my page as a type of boarder. I titled my page Boondock Saints..... And your probably wondering WHY?? It is a movie of these brothers who go on a crusade to get rid of bad guys. My boys really liked this movie. I added Crystal Effects to the letters on the title. Maybe if you click on the pic you can see the gloss on the letters. It made the page stand out. On the Brown squares that backs up a few of the pics I added copper brads to the corners. These boys of mine may have there little spats here and there with each other, but for the most part, they really appreciate that they have each other. Being close at age helps them to entertain each other. And let me tell you these three love to take pictures. It also might be because they know what a big scrapper their mother is. Till next time, HAPPY SCRAPPIN.... BEC ~

The Bad News Players....

A Baseball Page..... I enjoy working on Sports Pages. My hubby put a team together with his brothers, our boys, family and close friends. It's so nice to see them all together having a good time. It is a great thing that he decided to do this. He named the team Bad News as you can tell by the title on my page. If you click on the picture below you can view it a little better. The pic on the right his my husband Tony with his 3 brothers. C.S. colors I used were Brilliant Blue, Basic Black and White. As I backed up my pictures I decided to leave a little room on the side of the c.s. to add ribbon to it. Something a little different. I'm sorry but the stamp images that I had used are no longer available. They were purchased about 8 years ago through (Close to My Heart). I stamped some small black stars around the page background. I stamped the images in Chocolate Chip. The letters were done from the Sizzix Machine. Below is a picture of the Bad News Gang. THANKS HUN FOR GIVING US SUNDAYS TO LOOK FORWARD TO..... It's fun watching you guys... Till next time, HAPPY STAMPIN..... BEC ~

Nascar Invitation

These are the invitations I made for my nephew Rene's birthday party that is coming soon. Right now he is into Nascar, and his driver is #5 and guess what he's turing 5 also. So it worked out just perfect. I created the invite so it could open as a flap card. I wanted to do something different. I created a slider band to keep the invite closed. I used Summer Sun, Brilliant Blue and Whisper White C.S. I stamped the #5's in Basic Black and added some crystal effects to them giving them a nice glossy shine. I added some thin ribbon to the slider band and some mini silver brads at the bottom of invite. I then created a stamped matching envelope. There are a few cute quotes inside that read, " Start Your Engines " and " See You At The Finish Line ". HAPPY STAMPIN.... BEC ~
