4TH OF JULY - 2012

Hello Stampers :) WOW !! I can't believe we are in the middle of the year already... Time flies when your havin fun, making projects :) I created this cupcake stand and made my own cupcake toppers to go with the theme for the 4th of July party that was hosted at our home. I think the last time I made cupcakes was when my boys were in elementary school, they're in their 20's now..... The flower arrangements I made to place throughout my home. The Awesome patriotic wreath was made from my talented mother, which she makes me a wreath for all holidays to dress up my front door, as guest walk in they tend to admire it and ask where I got it. I've also had neighbors ask. And the last pic is of me and my little firecracker Amaya (granddaughter)... I found her little 4th of July dress on-line and had her matching headband specially made from a friend who crochets :) Hope all of you had a wonderful and safe 4th...........   HAPPY STAMPIN, BEC ~

MOTHERS INVITES :)

I have been planning my Mothers 65th Birthday party that is comin up real soon. As you can see here the colors she chose are turquoise, black and white. Here is what the invite looks like that I created. I made 42 of them. I embossed the white cardstock and backed it up with a damask print, I also stickled the embossed flourish with diamond stickles. The ribbon can be pulled up and off to open invite :) Looking forward to a nice celebration for her. She surely deserves it :)  HAPPY STAMPIN.... BEC ~

FATHERS DAY CARD :)

As I may have shared before, my friends/ co-workers gather and make cards. We all take turns bringing in a card for each of us to create with all supplies needed. For me it's exciting making cards created by someone else :) and our collection is building up quickly.... Here is a card that a friend Rebecca Gipple created, I made it into a Fathers Day card and gave it to my father in law, for he owns a very classic automobile that he enters in contests and has many 1st place trophies. He loved the card :) Thanks Beck..... HAPPY STAMPIN !!

Graduation Invite :)

A friend of mine asked me if I can make her some invites for a Graduation/ Birthday Party she had for her twin boys :) They attended Santa Fe High School, so I went with the theme colors. This invite was a overlap fold, stamped graduation hats, stickled them with silver stickles, added a belly band to keep invite closed with a circle punch tag reading her boys names :)  HAPPY STAMPIN.... BEC ~

CD Cover :)

At my cousins Sweet 16 party, we had a slide show with music of many pics from when she was a newborn to her at the age now. We made copies of the CD to give to close family members, here are the CD case covers I made to pass out :)

SWEET 16 PARTY !!

Hello Stampers :) A cousin of mine recently had a Sweet 16 party, and I had the privilege  of being ask to create a Candy Buffet Table, mini candy boxes and embellish up a few other items. This is only my second Candy Buffet Table I have created, the other one was for my granddaughters 1st B-day party :) I created this candy table in the colors of the theme, Elegant Eggplant :) I made my own candy label tags to attach to vases and a few quote saying table cards. I also embellished up the gift card box, for it was just too plain in white. Along with making the plain table # cards a little more decorative :) This was such a great event, and happy with all the compliments I got on everything :)  HAPPY STAMPIN :)

Scrapbook Pages of *CATO*

I am making a Scrapbook of my Sons pride-n-joy, his Shepherd Cato ..... It's a surprise, and should be handing it to him soon. Here are some pages I have created so far. I need about 8 more to go. Cato joins us in all our Hikes every Saturday morning, where we take most of these pics. He loves the camera as you can tell, and will pose exactly how you want him to without moving until he hears Sonnys command to do so :) Looking forward to completing this album...............  HAPPY STAMPIN, BEC ~

Teacher Gifts :)

Here are a few cards I created, gotta come up with 3 more different layouts. I will be making teacher gift baskets for my Nephews to hand to their teachers at the end of the year, which is very, very near :) I had this SU stamp set for the longest time, it's probably the oldest one I own. It's called School Days, always held on to it knowing it will always come in handy :) I will be posting the other items that are going into basket soon.

And more Notecards :)

Here are just a few more sets I made.... I have also attached what my table looked like when I was making all these cards :) Boy it sure gets messy real quick !!! and that was only half the table. As you can see I was using tissue paper to do my projects over, it seemed pretty handy cause I like to stamp practice on scratch paper first, and as I did it dried up so fast on tissue paper, to where it helped not to get onto any of my projects I was working on :) So I guess I will be using tissue paper from here on.....

A good friend/ co-worker is hosting a graduation party for her daughter... They're making these really cute purses made out of cardstock, and inserting 3 mini notecards in each one to pass out to the daughters girlfriends. Here are some of the cards I created for her :)

Babyshower Gift :)

Hello Stampers:)
Here is a Babyshower gift I created for our neighbor who is expecting a little girl soon. I inserted the Scrapbook page I made into a 12 X 12 white frame. I also created my own wrapping paper to coordinate with the page. I used about 5 sheets of white tissue paper and stamped it in matching stamp images and ink :) Added some ribbon. Then last but not least I made a notecard to go with gift. Looking forward to handing them their gift.  HAPPY STAMPIN :)

Made this B-day card for my Boss :) I rarely create masculine cards, and was thinking what colors am I gonna use ??? I came up with these, Tempting Turquoise, Calypso Coral and Basic Black. The Happiest Wishes Birthday quote is from the Happiest Birthday Wishes Hostess stamp set. The balloons are from a retired set and the Celebrate You stamp scallop image is from a retired set as well. Added some black stud brads.
Made this sample Mini Candy Box in Elegant Eggplant cs, added the Butterfly stamp image from the Simple Friendship stamp set (retired).... cut it out and popped it up. Added ribbon around the top lid. I will be making 60 of these for my cousins Sweet 16 Party and adding some Diamond Stickles to the Butterfly image.... HAPPY STAMPING - BEC ~

Mothers Day Gift Card Pkg :)

Pete & I hosted Mothers Day at our home as we do every year.... It's always nice to have all the moms gather. Each mother who attended received a gift package as you see here, each one had a different colored pkg. Each gift pkg contains 5 handmade cards with matching envelopes... I put them all in a large basket and had each of them choose one. It was nice to see the excitement in their eyes. I did give my Mother a Texture Boutique Embossing Machine that she just loved :) Now she doesn't have to borrow mine anymore... LOL :) gotta start getting her emb folders. HAPPY STAMPING - BEC ~

Daffodil & Black :)

Here is  a card I made using Daffodil & Black cardstock and ink... the flower cut-outs are from the Vintage Vogue stamp set that is retiring at the end of this month :( , stamped and cut them out and popped them up to give it a 3-D effect. I stickled part of the leaf branch, and added some rhinestone brads to center of flowers. Used the eyelit border punch that is also retiring at the end of month.... Embossed Daffodil cs with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder :) Love these two colors together. HAPPY STAMPIN... BEC ~

The girls and myself here at work.... decided to share our talent. Each of us take turns bringing in a made card and all supplies to make it :) It is so fun, and it's always nice to make someone else's card, we pick up many ideas from eachother and the exciting thing sharing what we love.... The first card was made by Coleen, the second card by Evelyn and the third card by Rebecca Gipple.... These girls def have the knack to cardmaking.... and I am very proud of them on their creativity ~

So much Stampin Up Goodies..... Us girls here at work Love when the Brown Man comes in :) We get so happy knowing we are gonna go home with some FUN stuff to use on new projects.... Right now I am into collecting all colored cardstock packs to expand my cardstock inventory, it's gonna be nice to own every color and to go with all it's matching ink pads that I already own.... The cute ribbon pkgs are in the Clearance Rack right now for $3.59, normally like $8.95 or so.... So take advantage before they go out of stock.
