A Girlie Page

How about a Girlie Page? It's rare that I create these pages, meaning with girlie colors. I have all boys.... so I create more on the masculine side. I found this printed paper at a scrapbook store, and really liked the colors. I added some yellow brads to the corners of the picture squares. off the the left I stamped flowers with dragon flies. I added some more brads to the center flowers, along with crystal effects to the dragon flies.
I have my first Stampin' Up Workshop for this year coming up, so I'm getting excited. I have so many new ideas to demonstrate, which I know will be a hit. I still have many projects that I'm working on right now, cheerleading album (almost done), baby shower party favors, Mothers Day cards, May Birthday cards, my son's Thank You notes, ATC Swaps, Idea's on my nephews birthday party invites and party favors and kits for my Workshop. But again it's all Therapy to me... Till next time, HAPPY STAMPIN, BEC.........

Let's Play Ball

My son Sonny played on a young mens baseball league last summer. He loves ball more than any other sport. He pitches and plays shortstop. I created my own printed paper by stamping the baseball guy many times at the bottom of the cardstock. Many people think I bought the paper this way. I scalloped the pictures around the trim. I decided to distress the letter squares and the written tag with Close to Cocoa to make it look like dirt from the field. I popped up the letter squares and the cut out baseballs. Red, kraft and whisper white cardstock went really well together. Now all three of my boys are on a mens hardball league with their dad, so I'm looking forward to creating more pages.

Dodger Gift Bag

Hello....
We were invited to a Dodger baseball birthday party. My cousins son turned 4. So i decided to make a Dodger gift bag for his present. I stamped the baseball, and used my large star punch from Stampin' Up. I stamped the glove and used that as my to & from tag. I even stamped the tissue with the baseball bats and baseballs. As soon as I walked into the party, allot of friends and family noticed it. I distressed the bag itself around the edges with a brown inkspot, to match it up a little. You can dress up any gift bag to match the theme of the party. Try it for the next party your invited to. If you do get brave, email me a pic of your creation. Till next time, HAPPY STAMPIN......Bec :)

T-Ball Time !

These pic's were taken last year. My nephew Rene started T-Ball. This little guy is sure going to be a little athlete, because he loves sports, and just loves being active. He was on the pirates, and I found the perfect embellishements to go on his two page layout. I remember him always wanting to slide into home as he was running in. I'm looking forward to creating his next sports page. He is now playing junior basketball, and his team is called the LAKERS.... That page is gonna be fun.. Till next time, HAPPY STAMPIN....

Quotes for the Day.....
BOYS PAGE:

It takes someone special
to be a Dad.

Tag Your It !!

Hi there.... Here are the tags I had mentioned to you on Friday that I would post. The smaller one I used the Priceless Stamp Set from Stampin' Up. You probably won't be able to notice, but I used the diamond effect and outlined the butterfly. I used my scallop hand punch to place underneath the butterfly cutout in Cameo Coral.
With the bee tag, I punched the same 5 petal flower punch in white after stamping it with Summer Sun Ink, then punched in black cardstock and just layered both flowers, and just added a brad in the center and popped it up with dimensionals. I will exchange my 10 bee tags on May 3rd. Looking forward to seeing what kind of tags I get back....

Thinking of You card

Hi Scrappers......
I wanted to try these colors together. Tempting Turquoise, chocolate chip and whisper white. I used the Seeing Spots stamp set from Stampin' Up, and just made my own little embellishment using circle punches and just added a copper brad. You can even try these colors on a scrapbook page. You can't even imagine how many embellishments you can make yourself, in any color you want to match your layouts. With all the different punches Stampin' Up has you can make a ton of them, and just adding brads, ribbon, dry embossing, and dimensionals. You really don't have to go out and spend, spend, spend on embellishments.

I got into this little swap group, where I make 10 tags, all the same. And one day out of the month I swap my tags with other tag swappers and get 10 different ones. It's fun to see other's creations. Next week, I will post my tags that I made. Again even tags like these can be used as Page Embellishments.

Till next time, Happy Scrappin.......

Quotes...Quotes...and more Quotes....

Everytime I see a really nice quote, either from a magazine, catalog, other cards, signs, or on the web, etc...... I will definitely write it down, and write it in this journal book that I have. I have the journal labeled off in categories. So I will put the quote where I think it fits best. Some of the categories I have are FAMILY; MEMORIES; BOYS/SONS; GIRLS/DAUGHTERS; FRIENDS; MOTHERS/FATHERS; SPORTS; WEDDINGS, an so on. When I create my pages and sometimes I just need a little saying, I just look through my own journal, find the perfect quote and make my own embellishment or tag with the quote on it. And I always get commented on what a nice quote or where did you find it? So I'm going to start posting a few quotes here and there, and maybe you would want to start creating your own journal.

ANY PAGE:
The moment may be temporary,
but the memory is forever
BIRTHDAY PAGE:
it matters not how long you live,
but how well
BOYS PAGE:
God created boys full of spirit and fun,
to explore and conquer,
to rom and run

Cousins.........

Hello.......This is a cousins page layout I did a while back. I had got the layout template from a scrapbook store. You can use these kind of templates in so many ways on your page. I also used the Seeing Spots stamp set from Stampin' Up, and just added some buttons as some embellishments. I will usually grab my printed paper or card stock colors that I'm going to use, then I'll grab my stamps, inkpads and any matching embellishments I might want to use. Again if you want to see this page in a close up view, just left click the image and open link. HAPPY STAMPIN, Bec.........

Mis BeeHavin

Hi there :) This is a page I did a while back. Sometimes I will just sit and create pages, without having any pictures. I just get this idea in my head from a stamp I might have in my hand or ribbon I just purchased, or colors that I have seen that look good together. I found this Mis Beehaven die cut at the Ontario Scrap Fair. I thought it was so cute. I have to get some pics of my nephew so he can fill in this page. Not that he Mis Beehaves !! HA HA HA !! It was such a beautiful weekend here in California, I just had to scrap, in my air conditioned home of course. I am one to have many projects going at the same time, I just can't say no to people who come to me asking for idea's, next thing I'm creating the project for them. LOL :) I'm doing a cheerleading scrapbook for a co-worker friend Stacy right now, only using their school colors. Once it's completed I will post some of our favorite pages.... For this page, I used Seeing Spots stamp set from Stampin' Up. I love this set, you can do so much with it. I stuck black brads through the center of the circle stamps. Till next time, Happy Stampin......Bec :)

Concert Time !!

Wow, do I have some musicians in my household... I'm just glad all these instruments are in the garage, and my scraproom is very far away on the other side of the house, where I can't even hear when they go at it. I snuck a picture of my nephew Ryan when he was in his room playing his drum set. I just had to do a page to share these pics. The stickers I got from a scrapbook store and the music notes printed paper is from Michaels.

" I'll let you know when the next concert is" LOL...Ryan's a fill in, in case one of the other drumers can't make it.

Till next time..... HAPPY STAMPIN.. Bec :)

3 HANDSOME YOUNG MEN

MY BOYZ .......

Hello everyone :) Wanted to show you the loves of my life, Tony 21, Sonny 18 and Jesse 16. They are the one's who inspire me to keep on scrappin, along with my friends and customers. These boys always compliment my work and it just puts a smile on my face. They know what a big picture taking freak I am, but they totally support me. They have become accustomed to taking pictures for me, in any kind of pose. You think boys at these ages would hate posing for pics. But not these guys. I seriously think they do it just for mom :) I could even tell them what to wear. As you can see on this pic, they didn't mind all wearing white collared shirts. About them sitting down and doing a page with me, doubt it !! I know one day, they will look back at all my scrapbooks, with all the different pages I have created for them, and appreciate how pictures on decorative pages created by their mother can bring back so many great memories. Memories that can never be forgotten.

Butterfly Card

I really liked these two colors together. I used Cameo Coral and Old Olive cardstock from Stampin' Up. Along with the Reasons to Smile stamp set also from Stampin' Up. All I did was distress the small tag a little and popped up the butterfly with dimensionals and just added a little brad. Try making this card with other stamps you may have. (If your interested in owning a Stampin' Up catalog), send me an e-mail rrodriguez@ccombank.com This catalog has hundreds of idea's and fun scrapbooking merchandise.

My Wrestler

My son!! Varsity Wrestler for Pioneer High School. This little guy makes us really proud. This little guy? What am I saying, he's about 6'1 already and just turned 16. This was his wrestling banquet where he rec'vd his Varsity letter as a freshman. And also rec'vd a plaque for Sportsmanship. With my son just being a sophmore now, I have many more wrestling pages to do. Hope I can give you some creative layouts that you can use for practically any sport. As we all say "HAPPY SCRAPPIN"

Welcome to my Scrap Therapy!

Wanted to share with you, where all my downtime takes place. It took me about 3 years just to get my own scraproom. This is the only way to scrapbook comfortably. I play my music and sit peacefully with no distractions. I just love organizing, and it makes it so much easier to know where everything is at and in arms reach. This is just the beginning, I'm not done, and as I add to my favorite room of the house I will not forget to show you more and more improvments. I hope this brings inspiration to all. Now look at your area and see where you can improve.
