Made this B-day card for my Boss :) I rarely create masculine cards, and was thinking what colors am I gonna use ??? I came up with these, Tempting Turquoise, Calypso Coral and Basic Black. The Happiest Wishes Birthday quote is from the Happiest Birthday Wishes Hostess stamp set. The balloons are from a retired set and the Celebrate You stamp scallop image is from a retired set as well. Added some black stud brads.
Made this sample Mini Candy Box in Elegant Eggplant cs, added the Butterfly stamp image from the Simple Friendship stamp set (retired).... cut it out and popped it up. Added ribbon around the top lid. I will be making 60 of these for my cousins Sweet 16 Party and adding some Diamond Stickles to the Butterfly image.... HAPPY STAMPING - BEC ~

Mothers Day Gift Card Pkg :)

Pete & I hosted Mothers Day at our home as we do every year.... It's always nice to have all the moms gather. Each mother who attended received a gift package as you see here, each one had a different colored pkg. Each gift pkg contains 5 handmade cards with matching envelopes... I put them all in a large basket and had each of them choose one. It was nice to see the excitement in their eyes. I did give my Mother a Texture Boutique Embossing Machine that she just loved :) Now she doesn't have to borrow mine anymore... LOL :) gotta start getting her emb folders. HAPPY STAMPING - BEC ~

Daffodil & Black :)

Here is  a card I made using Daffodil & Black cardstock and ink... the flower cut-outs are from the Vintage Vogue stamp set that is retiring at the end of this month :( , stamped and cut them out and popped them up to give it a 3-D effect. I stickled part of the leaf branch, and added some rhinestone brads to center of flowers. Used the eyelit border punch that is also retiring at the end of month.... Embossed Daffodil cs with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder :) Love these two colors together. HAPPY STAMPIN... BEC ~

Sharing Our Talent :)

The girls and myself here at work.... decided to share our talent. Each of us take turns bringing in a made card and all supplies to make it :) It is so fun, and it's always nice to make someone else's card, we pick up many ideas from eachother and the exciting thing sharing what we love.... The first card was made by Coleen, the second card by Evelyn and the third card by Rebecca Gipple.... These girls def have the knack to cardmaking.... and I am very proud of them on their creativity ~

So much Stampin Up Goodies..... Us girls here at work Love when the Brown Man comes in :) We get so happy knowing we are gonna go home with some FUN stuff to use on new projects.... Right now I am into collecting all colored cardstock packs to expand my cardstock inventory, it's gonna be nice to own every color and to go with all it's matching ink pads that I already own.... The cute ribbon pkgs are in the Clearance Rack right now for $3.59, normally like $8.95 or so.... So take advantage before they go out of stock. I also get a few items for my Mother as I am helping her build her collection as well ~

WISHING ALL THE MOTHERS A VERY WONDERFUL MOTHERS DAY !!! I made these cards the same, just using different colors... The first one is in So Saffron and Black and the second one is in Old Olive and Black. Diaper Cake Centerpieces :)

A cousin of mine asked if I can come up and make some centerpieces for her... She was hosting a babyshower :) So I thought and thought about what I was going to come up with, and this is what came to my mind.... Diaper Cakes, I made 5 two layered cakes.... I used 150 size 2 & 3 diapers... Each cake used 30 diapers ea..... Added some Melon Mambo cardstock around, along with some Chocolate Chip at the top layer. Added some Butterfly images, stamped, cut out and popped up. Ribbon and punch flower shapes at the top glued to a skewer stick.... Each had a cute little stuff animal sticking out of center top ~

My Granddaughter Amaya & I :)

Wanted to share a pic of my granddaughter and I at a Ladybug/ Bumble Bee party we were invited to... So of course I had to go out of my way to dress her up to fit the theme... I found the cutest Ladybug dress online at Sophias Style Boutique. I was introduced by a friend to a woman who makes cute headbands and beanies from yarn/crochet.... I described to her what I wanted and Wala she made it in one day for me... It matched perfectly ~

Friend & Thinking of You cards :)

Here are a few cards I made.... The first card is using Chocolate Chip, Pool Party and Vanilla cardstock..... The friend stamp image is from Simple Friendship that is retired (Sorry) and the flower flourish image is from the Fresh Vintage set from Sale-a-Bration. I distressed the Vanilla cardstock with Pinecone color distresser and added Diamond Stickles to the swirl branches. Added a few copper mini brads and did some stitching with a white jel pen. Used a few hand punches, large scallop circle punch and the Eyelet Border Punch ~

I love the colors in this Thinking of You card... The yellow is so nice and bright !! I embossed the yellow cardstock with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. The flowers are images from the Vintage Vogue stamp set and cut out and popped up to give them a dimensional look. Added some yellow stickles and some Rhinestone Jewel Brads to center of flowers. Again used the eyelit border punch ~

Minnie Mouse Centerpieces :)

Here are some Minnie Mouse Centerpieces I made for a friend of mine.... I purchased some ceramic pots and spray painted them bright pink, added some foamy stuff inside to insert the long sticks that had cutouts of Minnie Mouse face Silouettes.
