X-Mas Tags :)

Here are some X-mas tags I created for a friend... They're having a craft fair at her church, and this is what I donated.... I made 8 pkgs, filled with these tags. Def.... do not have to go out and buy any X-mas tags, we can just make our own :) The tag with the Santa Postal Stamp image was my favorite... HAPPY STAMPIN, BEC.....

Small Wedding Gift :)

Here is a small wedding gift I put together for a friend here at work, his daughter just recently got married.... I decided to make her a small pkg of Hand Made Thank You Cards with matching envelopes, so she can send out to some of her guest. I used her wedding colors, and added some Bling (Stickles) to the Japanese flower branch :) I love this stamp, it's so elegant... Stamped the tissue that went into the gift bag with Hearts and Butterflies.... BEC :)

Girls Craft Get-Together :)

Hello Peeps :) I hosted a girls craft get-together a few weeks ago... My sis-in-law wanted to have one in her home... So I thought we could make Fall projects since Halloween & Thanksgiving are coming around. The first project is a Thanksgiving card pkg, which holds 4 cards and matching envelopes. We also altered a small almond can, covered it with fall printed paper, added a stamped pumpkin image, that we cut out and popped up in front of a scallop round circle punch. added some crimped streamer and candies :) and the last project is a cute lil cookie holder. Stamped the web image in white ink, added the tag and a small plastic spider. The cookie is held inside in a small cellophane bag :) Thanks for stopping by ...... HAPPY STAMPIN, BEC ....

Altered Can :)

This is a large empty peanut can that I altered to look like this... I used it on the Candy Buffet table at my granddaughters party. The printed paper I used to cover the can had birthday cakes and party hats on it. Added some bright green tool, bright pink ribbon and silver twine... popped up some butterflies and fabric flowers, and Wala !!! all from a simple can... So don't throw away those empty cans, wash them out and save them to be altered :) I have even altered large empty cans and used them to insert a b-day gift inside, hand creams & shower jels or even a few blouses, etc.... The recipient thinks it's amazing as it's such a great idea :) HAPPY STAMPIN... BEC :)

My Granddaughters 1st Yr. B-day Party !!!

Hello Peeps :) Sorry it took me so long, but I am finally having some free time to post to my site here... I have many projects, and ideas to share with you.... First of all here are some pics of my granddaughter Amaya's 1st B-day party I hosted at my home... She had 2 big parties, I went ahead and went with a Butterfly & Flower theme, her other party was Minnie Mouse themed :) If you notice in the first pic, I made the cupcake toppers... Stamped a lg. butterfly along with some flowers, cut them out and glued them to mini Popsicle sticks... they really made the cupcakes stand out. Part of the party decor was scrapbook pages made by me of my granddaughter from birth to throughout her months before turning the BIG 1 :) I created the Candy Buffet table myself too, making my own decorations, and lil quote sayings... again I added butterfly cutouts from my stamps, and popped them up here & there... It turned out really nice and most of all Bright & Colorful, just the way I wanted, and just as my granddaughter has given me... A Brighter Life :) Thanks for stopping by... Someone Special is turning 1 ......

So me (Grandma) decided to go all out .... Plus it's my first grandchild, so why not right ??? My granddaughter will be turning 1 in about a week and we are celebrating her Big Day this coming Saturday..... I have been planning this event for months now and coming up with ideas on the Decor, Party Favors, The Cake, The Cupcakes, The Centerpeices, The Candy Store Table, The Food, & not to mention Her Outfit :) The theme I decided on was Butterflies & Flowers, in Bright Pinks, Apple Greens and Light Lavenders... I am blessed that I can put so much time in making my granddaughters event special. Even though she will not remember this special day, there will be a video on CD, and many scrapbook pages of all the family, friends & decor for her to look back upon and realize how special she is & loved by her Grandma :) Her babyshower was wonderful, but the decor will not be close to what I am creating this Saturday... Here are just some party favors I have created, the first pic is the cupcake toppers, the wreath was made by my mother, then there are decorative tealight packages, sticky note decorative holders and candy cone holders.....
