6 X 6 Mini Scrapbook....

Hi Scrappers :) I started this Mini Scrapbook Album for my Sweetie, that way he can have lots and lots of pictures of me to look at when he is missing me :) This is my first time making a 6X6 mini scrap book..... And let me tell you it's so much more fun, because your creative mind doesn't have to work so hard, you don't need that many idea's to fill up the page.... The last pic is of the front of the book, and here are just a few pages I'm sharing with you..... I must have up to 12 pages now..... I will create one here & there and just add them to the book, since I created the book in a way where it's very easily to add pages..... I punched 2 holes on the left side of the book and just binded it with ribbon..... I do plan on having a workshop where every guest will be asked to bring with them 6 family photos so each of them can create and take home with them a book like this.... The theme will be family oriented though :) You can keep the book for your own personal self, give as a gift to a family member, or give to a son/ daughter...... Hope you all are enjoying your day, HAPPY SCRAPPIN, BEC ~

Bachelorette Invite....

Here is a sample I created for a friend who had asked me to make some Bachelorette invites for her.... These were her choice of colors. The different size foiled embellishment flowers I found at Scrappin Good Times in San Dimas. As you can tell I added stickles to the " Your Invited " saying along with the stamped circles, from the stamp set ( Seeing Spots ). I added dimensionals to the small & larger flower to give it a popped up look. I had a fun time using these colors.... The girl who requested these invites was going for a Moroccan theme...

A New Beginning For Me .......

Ok... Some of yous may be in a bit of shock. I am starting a whole different chapter in my life. This may have been one of the reasons I have not posted my creations for a while, with so many other things going on, there were many priorities I had to think about and make choices on, some were easy some were tough..... But with my true belief in faith, I was able to overcome some hard making decisions. These pics you see here are of a 4bed/3bath, 2 story condo that I moved into in March, along with my 3 boys..... I have a good size patio, to host workshops again. Yes, I am going through a divorce, buts it's for the best. It's the choices we make and how we live that keeps us smiling, and I am enjoying every bit of my new beginning :) My x-husband and I have remained good friends, and I am blessed that my boys understand and still remain very happy young men :) I will post a few more pics of the condo very soon. I will be posting new creations more frequently as I'm back into the swing of things, to expand your creative ideas...... HAPPY SCRAPPIN.... BEC ~

Special Thought For You.....

Hi there :) I have to admit, I created this card at the beginning of this year.... I seen this patterned c.s. at the Scrapbook Lounge and just had to grab it off the shelf, a matching print had these pretty pink and black butterflies on it, so what I did was trace the butterfly image in white c.s. cut it out, glued down on my card, then cut the actual butterfly image and popped it up over the white butterfly image, and pulled the wings up a bit, giving it a 3D effect. On the top scallop cut, those aren't tiny holes, they are actually dots I jotted down myself with a black thin marker. Butterfly images are so fun to work with, Big or Small....... Remember to only put your dimensionals underneath the middle of the body, so that you can lift up the wings.... HAPPY SCRAPPIN... BEC ~

Another Wrestling Season...

My wrestler is back on the mat :) It's Wrestling season time again. Jess is now a Junior, and is going 125's this year...... He could go 130's, but he works hard to keep his weight down..... The kid is just too darn tall, with a shoe size of 12.....He loves the sport and makes us proud. Hoping & looking forward to seeing him at CIF.... I found the printed paper at Scrappin Good Times, and thought to throw in some Green Galore cardstock to match up with the school colors and his Lettermans jacket. I used my Coluzzle cutting system by Stampin' Up to make the round photos. Added a few silver star brads and some wrestling word stickers also from Scrappin Good Times. Take a visit, they have everything there..... HAPPY SCRAPPIN.... BEC ~
